Vice President: Alexandra Aragon

President: Megan Auer

Fall 2012

As many of my other amazing sisters I never imagined that one day I would be a member of a sorority let alone have the opportunity to serve as the President. Coming to college can be a scary thing. With a new environment, new people, and new responsibilities all I wanted was to find a place that I could call my home away from home and with Chi Omega, I found just that. What I didn’t know then, that I do now is that I would get so much more out of being involved in Greek life than I could have ever imagined. I have had the opportunity to raise money and awareness for so many different philanthropies, give back to the community, and discover new things about myself and who I am that I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. I know that my decision to go Greek is what brought me to the place I am today, gaining confidence, leadership, and life skills. The freshman me never would have believed that I would be capable to represent Beta Kappa for my sisters, a chapter of the LARGEST women’s organization in the nation and I will forever be grateful for their support.

Fall 2012

My name is Alexandra Aragon and I am from lovely San Diego. Before coming to college, I didn’t really know what was in store for me and who or what I would be involved in. I came in with an open mind and a drive to inspire. Little did I know that I would soon be joining the most amazing woman’s organization. It has made me grow in my own and with others. It has provided me with people that inspire and teach me new and wondrous things every day. Over all, Chi Omega has changed my life for the better and has played a major part in my college experience to help sculpt the person who I am today. I love my chapter of Beta Kappa and all of my sisters so much and the fact that I can have a position to help represent them is a huge honor and blessing all in one.

As Vice President it is my job to oversee one our most important purposes, scholarship. I’m here to make sure all of our members are working diligently to keep our GPA’s high. For Chi Omega, academic success is something we pride our selves in very much. Scholarship has always been very important to me as an individual and I am happy to have been chosen a leadership position that allows me to help my sisters in this very category.  LICO <3

Chi Omega is truly an amazing organization and full of many opportunities. I am so excited to be a part of the 2015 Executive Board.

Treasurer: Jessica Quintanilla

Fall 2012

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Quintanilla, and I am a third-year Marketing Management major. I joined Chi Omega during my second year and it has truly changed my life in ways I didn’t think were possible! When I first came to Cal Poly Pomona I was not involved and didn’t feel a connection to the campus. Chi Omega was the missing link in my college career, and after all of the leadership opportunities and knowledge I have gained from this amazing organization, I feel confident in skills such as marketing, time management, professional etiquette, and finances. Most importantly, I have become a better friend, sister, and overall human being, and I know that I could go to my family of sisters for anything, whether it’s a laugh, a piece of advice, or a shoulder to cry on. This year I am very honored to be serving on Beta Kappa’s 2015 Executive Board as Treasurer. This position is all about managing Chi Omega’s finances and ensuring that our budget is always kept under control, so it’s a good thing that I can use all of the skills I’ve learned to give back to our chapter! I can’t wait for what new experiences this year will bring; I love Chi Omega, and will forever be grateful for it!

Danielle Burton

Fall 2012

Hiiii my name is Danielle Burton and I'm Chi Omega's New Member Educator! I'm a third year Liberal Studies major and want to be an elementary school teacher. I'm from Simi Valley, CA and have a slight obsession with Taylor Swift. I love country music, horrible reality tv shows like Dance Moms and Toddlers and Tiaras, and chipotle. Through my role as New Member Educator I am able to teach our newest members the history and traditions of Chi Omega. Looking back if someone told me that one organization would have had this much of an impact on my life, I wouldn't have believed it. Chi Omega has brought me my best friends, amazing memories, and a home away from home. I cannot wait to welcome home our newest pledge class in the fall!

Fall 2012

Hi I am Ciara Shuster, the 2015 personnel chair! I am a third year hospitality major! I grew up in Simi Valley, CA. I am obsessed with country music, going on random adventures, and spending time with my sisters, of course! Through my position as Personnel Chair, my goal is to always make sure that my sisters and I are upholding high standards of personnel and the values we cherish within our organization. These values that we all share are what made me fall in love with Chi Omega, along with all the amazing women. Chi Omega has given me so many leadership opportunities and I will forever be grateful for the ways this fraternity challenges me to be the best person I can be.

Recruitment Chair:

Alexa Gallegos

Fall 2011

I’m Alexa Gallegos and I am a fourth-year Communication major, emphasis in Public Relations. I am obsessed with donuts, love to dance and go on adventures with my friends. I am so excited to be the 2015 Recruitment Chair for Beta Kappa! My position is to prepare an amazing recruitment weekend and ensure that every girl coming through finds her home away from home. Our chapter consists of 130 members with diverse backgrounds, talents, interests and dreams. Although we are so different, it is our shared values and love for life that keep our sisterhood so strong.

I fell in love with Chi Omega the very first day of recruitment, my freshman year. The energetic atmosphere and genuine connections drew me in. I didn’t know it then, but when I ran through the doors after receiving my bid, I was in for a more valuable experience than I could have imagined. I now live with six other Chi Omegas and am having the time of my life with them and the rest of chapter. Joining Chi Omega was the best decision I have ever made and I couldn’t be more honored to serve on this Executive Board.

Panhellenic Delegate:

Dana Feuer

Fall 2013

I came to Cal Poly to pursue my interest in Architecture but I was quickly swept off my feet by a wonderful organization I now call home. Chi Omega has highlighted some of the values I hold nearest to my heart and has opened my college experience up to a world of new relationships, opportunities, and standards. The Beta Kappa chapter simply lights up our campus and I couldn't be prouder to be representing such a well-rounded, ambitious, and fun group of women. Having been given the opportunity to serve on the Executive Board, it is only becoming clearer each day how grateful I am to be part of such an exquisite sisterhood. Chi Omega pushes me to be the most outstanding version of myself and reminds me to hold myself to a high and honorable standard. Chi Omega is more than an organization; it is a support system, a set of ideals, a wonderful adventure, and an irreplaceable piece of my heart. I am so excited to see what to coming year has in store for our chapter and, as Panhellenic Delegate, I feel very confident in saying that Beta Kappa will continue, as it always has, to be an asset and a role model in the Greek community on campus.
